2018 HOLIDAY PARTY

On Wednesday, December 12th, the Rockaway Rotary Club held its annual Children’s Holiday Party at The Exchange in Rockaway Borough. Children from the Pre-K classes at Lincoln School in Rockaway Borough were among the guests of the club. Holiday musical entertainment was provided by the Pre-K students and students from Copeland Middle School in Rockaway Township. A special appearance by the jolly old man in the red suit bearing gifts for the students was enjoyed by both young and old.

Have you made your contribution to

The Rotary Foundation this year?

"A Rotarian in our district has agreed to match contributions to The Rotary Foundation made by all District 7475 Rotarians up to $25,000. The Rotarian, who asked to remain anonymous, will be making a corresponding donation to The Rotary Foundation for every dollar we raise during the month of December 2018. All donations up to $1,000 per Rotarian to the Annual Fund will be matched by the donor. This will be a $1 for $1 match for Annual Fund similar to The Gates match for Polio, however part of this money comes back to our District. There is no minimum gift. Your gift to the Annual Fund/Share will help fund our District Grant's within Rotary's six areas of focus."

GIFT OF LIFE SUPER BOWL RAFFLE

It’s that time again! Time for the annual Gift of Life Super Bowl raffle!

Each year at this time, our district’s Gift of Life committee sells raffle tickets to raise funds for this great project by selling chances on a trip to the Super Bowl. This year, the Super Bowl will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA on February 3, 2019.

The tickets are $20 each and the Super Bowl package is worth $10,000! Drawing will be held on January 11, 2019.

Past President George Berry has our club's allotment of tickets. Please see him at an upcoming meeting or contact him at FLHR94BERRY@aol.com to buy a ticket or obtain tickets to sell.
