On Wednesday, March 8th, members of the Rockaway Rotary Club promoted Rotary's area of focus on education and literacy by participating in the annual “Read Across America” day in Rockaway Borough. Rotarians Rod Seifert, Rick Rounsaville, Jake Vogelezang, and Mark Schwarz read stories to students at Lincoln School as part of the event sponsored annually by the National Education Association.

At our March 8th lunch meeting, Diane Vezzuto, PE of the Denville Rotary Club and Owner of Caring Transitions of Rockaway, spoke to our members about her company's approach to downsizing and senior relocation. "Caring Transitions takes a compassionate approach to downsizing by helping clients rightsize their possessions for a new or existing home." For seniors relocating, Caring Transitions will "develop a plan and manage the process to provide a huge amount of relief and speed up the process." The Rockaway Rotary Club will hold our evening meeting this month on Monday, March 20, 2017 starting at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Anthony's Family Restaurant and Pizzeria on West Main Street in Rockaway Borough. Join us to meet our members and hear about all of the charitable endeavors undertaken by our club to benefit our communities and the world. Rotarians are each encouraged to invite a friend or colleague to join us for this meeting.
Each year, the Rotary Club of the Rockaways offers four scholarships to qualified high school seniors from Rockaway Borough or Rockaway Township. Click "Read more..." below for the requirements and qualifications for each scholarship and download the scholarship application forms.
