District Governor Peggy Mader, making her annual visit to our club, addressed our members at our August 30th meeting. DG Mader spoke about her background and experiences as a Rotarian and the numerous opportunities that Rotary gives us to serve our communities and the world. She encouraged our members to support the district's efforts in raising funds for the relief efforts in Texas and highlighted her district conference which will take place on a cruise to Bermuda next May. She thanked our club for all of our efforts and urged everyone to remain active in district events and initiatives.
