Please come celebrate this joyous season with fellow Rotarians, families and friends at 6PM on Thursday, December 21st at Charlie Brown’s in Chatham. There will be no breakfast and lunch regular meetings that day. Dinner will include soft drink, salad bar, dinner entrée (Prime Rib, Sesame Ginger Chicken, or Tilapia Bruschetta) with two sides, tea or coffee and cake. $31pp will be billed to your account. Don't miss Madison Rotary's 50/50 raffle drawing this Thursday, 12 noon at the Madison Area YMCA. 5 winners will be chosen with prizes totaling $30,000. Come and enjoy lunch, the fellowship of the Madison Rotary - and the singing of "The 12 Days of Christmas" let by club music maestro Jim Allison. In addition the Madison High School Jazz Jazz Chorus will perform their annual holiday performance during lunch. They performance is always one of the meeting highlights.
What do most Rotarians have a hard time doing? Attending meetings? Contributing to the Foundation? Participating in a Service Project? Paying their dues? Of all of the obligations a person accepts when joining a Rotary club, the one in which MANY Rotarians fall short is "Sharing Rotary". It is estimated that less than 30 percent of the members of most Rotary clubs have ever made the effort to propose a new member.
