The Rotary Club of Madison has 2 meetings:  Thursday morning 7:30 am, Madison Area YMCA, 111 Kings Road, Madison, NJ and Thursday afternoon 12:15 pm, Madison Hotel, One Convent Road, Convent Station, NJ.  Members and guests may attend either meeting.

The Rotary Club of Madison has an enthusiastic and engaged network of ordinary people doing extraordinary things to serve humanity in our local and global communities. We have 88 members and are inviting like-minded individuals to join our successful and vibrant club.  President Jeannie Tsukamoto encourages you to come learn about Rotary by attending a club meeting as our guest.  You have your choice of three weekly meetings: Thursdays, 7:47 am breakfast at the YMCA, 12:15 pm lunch at the Madison Hotel and 6:30 pm hors d'oeuvres at EAT.alian at 90 Park Avenue.  To attend, please stopy by at one of the meetings.  For questions or additional information, contact Barry Kroll, Membership Development Chair, at barrykroll@aol.com or 973-476-2772.
 
April 20th - End Hunger Event
You are invited to join in on the End Hunger 3.6 success celebration to be held April 20th, 7 pm at the Community House.  We will be recognizing our major sponsors, donors and participants.  All regular club meetings for the day will be cancelled.
DEADLINE
 
The last day to sign up for Rotary Leadership Institute is April 12th.  Go to www.rlinea.org to register.  Rotarians have the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills as well as increase their Rotary knowledge by attending Rotary Leadership Institute on Saturday April 22, 2017 at West Orange High School in West Orange.  
 
The institute is from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.  The cost is  $75.00 and includes breakfast, lunch all materials and workshops. The Club will reimburse you for your attendance
 
Be sure to register early.  Parts I, II, III, Graduate and Faculty courses will be offered.  If you have questions or need additional information, contact Barry Kroll at barrykroll@aol.com
Shred It - A Great Success
April 1st was an overcast cool day but hundreds of Madison residents took advantage of Rotary's Shred It Day.  Additionally  Madison Rotary work in conjunction with Habit for Humanity ReStore to collect gently used furniture.  The event surpassed its goal raising of $1,700 that will be used as part of its charitable distribution program which supports over 40 local charities.  Special thanks to Carmela Moeller for organizing and to all Rotarians who volunteers in making the day a huge success.

123,000 Meals Packaged!
On Saturday, March 25, 2017, the Madison Rotary Club Foundation and the Madison Rotary Club packaged 123,000 meals that will be distributed to local organizations serving those in need.  Packaging took place at the Simon Forum at Drew University for 9 am to 3 pm.  Over 500 volunteers, people of all ages, participated in the event.  25 groups including many churches, non-profit organizations, community organizations and 15 Rotary Clubs from Rotary District 7470 took part in the event.  A special thank you to all of the individual donors and our sponsors listed below whose contributions made this amazing event possible.  Watch the video below to see the excitement of the day.
