The informative session also included what might be happening in 2023. They included interest rates, inflation, bonds, good investments and not so good investments. Questions were asked and thoughtful answers were given. Thank you to you both for sharing your insights

Sometimes the best laid plans of our bi-weekly meetings go arigh. We had planned District Governor Dan Steele as our guest speaker for our September 27th meeting. Unfortunately,  DG Dan is sidelined due back surgery. Area Governor Bud Walker stepped in to give a wonderful presentation.

Introduced by Immediate Past President Theresa Hocker, Bud, to quote member Ellen Kurtzman, provided a "fine speech where we are learning much about ways to improve the club".

There may be some irony in this photo of Chris Cobler in front of the Rotary Four Way Test banner. He is a well respected journalist that exudes the tenants of our Four Way Test of the things we say and do.

Speaking at our September 13th meeting, the Publisher and Editor of the Fort Worth Report provided a frank journalistic assessment of public issues related to Fort Worth and Tarrant county.
