A Great Show and A Great Cause

Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15, 2016
10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Lincoln Park in Los Altos

Open Letter to Los Altos and
Adjoining Communities

I would like to thank you for coming to this year's Fine Art in the Park Show. Thousands of Los Altos residents, members from the surrounding communities of Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and beyond descended on Lincoln Park to make this event a smashing success.

This is the main fund-raising event for the Rotary Club of Los Altos, and allows us to raise close to $100,000 for our local and international service projects and programs. You can read about them, as well as learn more about the show and artists at www.rotaryartshow.com.

I'd like to thank the talented musicians who provided entertainment, particularly the Los Altos High School Jazz Band, who wowed the early arriving crowds on Saturday. The live music on Saturday afternoon was provided by by Groovy Judy and Seascape Sounds, who had fans toe-tapping and head-nodding while they enjoyed great food and refreshments. Sunday’s entertainment came from Charged Particles, Georgi & the Rough Week (who always bares her soul when playing the Art Show), and the Jazz ConneXion, featuring Los Altos Rotary's own Past President, John Sylvester.

Stay tuned for next year. Fine Art in the Park 2017 will be held, as is tradition, on the first weekend after Mother's Day, or May 13-14, 2017. See you then!
