Cyber security

Ali Golshan was born in Iran, and raised Canada.  He attended the
University of Calgary, but was kicked out for hacking and never
graduated college.   He started his career as a consultant working
with various Canadian and American government intelligence agencies on
work related to nation state cyber defense.  He later moved to the
West Coast to run security for PwC where he was responsible for
incident response and security engineering.  In 2011 Ali founded
Cyphort, a cyber-security company that was acquired by Juniper
Networks in 2017.  Ali is currently the co-founder and CTO at
StackRox, a Mountain View based cyber-security company backed by
Sequoia Capital.
