KARAT School Project

        Evelyne Keomian was born in the Ivory Coast. As the 7th child of a family living in poverty, education wasn't available

to her due to her gender and her family's poverty.

        Evelyne founded the Karat School Project (KSP) to help provide the help she wished she had as a child growing up. The

KSP provides education, meals, and urgently needed necessities to children and women who live in extreme poverty. The KSP

views education as the most sustainable way to help break the cycle of poverty, inequity, and the best way to help fight many of

the issues that plague our world, they serve right here in the Bay Area as well as in the Ivory Coast.
