When a new member joins the Rotary Club of Los Altos, they automatically join the 'Red Badge Committee."  By Rotary custom, new members are given red name badges to identify them.  Regular members wear white name badges, but by custom are called "Blue Badgers."  Go figure.

Red Badgers meet on a monthly basis with the Red Badge Committee Chair who organizes presentations and discussions each meeting on aspects of the club's committees, customs and operations.  Each new member must complete a New Member Progress Worksheet, or "Red Badge Checklist," which lists activities that when completed entitle the new member to become a regular member.

Further information for new members, as well as the Red Badge Checklist can be found at the Red Badge Corner.
