Thanks for visiting our site! The first ClubRunner site in District 5370
When we upgraded our ClubRunner website to version 3.0, a whole new number of features were made available to us.
Unless you explore and navigate around on a regular basis you may not be aware of some of these new features and resources available to you.
Consequently, a two minute weekly feature at our meeting, in coordination with the program chair, will start immediately. I will focus on one or two features that should make life easier for you as a member, committee chair, director or executive.
Following the meeting, this weekly topic will be summarized in this spot so you can refresh your memory.

The stockings were hung by the chimney in care at the Edmonton Golf and Country Club December 9th as our Rotary Club celebrated the Christmas Season with our annual gala. (President )Santa Stephan welcomed the arriving guests with candy canes. Eric Solash had the good company of Carin Van Vuuren and her Mom Maria to meet everyone at the door.
A generous collection of kids pajamas where donated by the Christmas crowd. A friendly busy cocktail hour led into a lovely dinner.Ken Sutley did a great job as Master of Ceremonies. He led the Christmas Carols accompanied by Dennis Meneely who did a wonderful music job on the keyboards throughout the evening. Monica Blanco our lovely Rotary Exchange Student gave an informative and humorous talk on Christmas in Bolivia. The circle of friends widened literally and a fun gift exchange followed. And as the Rotarians and guests headed home it was heard from above, Merry Christmas to All, and to All a Good Night!
The annual CanAm Charity Golf Tournament hosted by the Superstition Mountain Rotary Club will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015. With 2 Canadian players competing with 2 American players in a Ryder Cup Format at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort, it promises to be a terrific day!

The German Canadian Cultural Association (GCCA) is closed the last two Tuesdays in December, Dec 23 & 30.
With the able help from Ron Dobbin, the super chef, Rick, at Allen Gray, has gracefully opened the doors for us to the 'Pub', which is adjacent to the dining room.
This was the room that was the focus of Ron's dissertation a couple of weeks ago.
In the spirit of the holidays, a glass of wine or a beer will be included in the usual $21 meal cost at the door.
Our club KIVA team has recently passed a milestone or two. Patrick Gibson advised us that we have now been active with 100 (!) small loans to small businesses amounting to $8,800. in this, our first year of involvement. 100% of the 100 loans have either been paid back in full or are in the process of being paid back.
55% of loans have helped women, often with university tuition. Men and small agriculture based loans seem popular choices also.
