What is Competition Aerobatics?

* Charlie grew up in Strathcona County

* Retired after a 36 year career with ATCO Gas and Pipelines

* Is a member of the Sherwood Park Rotary Club and currently is their treasurer

* Started flying lessons in the fall of 1981 and obtained his private licence in the spring of 1982

* Currently has a Commercial Licence with a Class 2 Aerobatic Instructor rating

* Started flying aerobatics in 1983, has been involved with the Aerobatic Club of Alberta since 1985 and currently is the treasurer of the club

* Has experience flying competition aerobatics up to the Advanced level

* Now flies aerobatics in an RV6 based at Villeneuve

* Is a National Judge for competition aerobatics and is a qualified Judging School instructor
