Edmonton Valley Zoo
Mar. 29, 2022
I am a native Albertan and have been with the Valley Zoo Development Society for 10 years, I am a passionate believer in the importance of community, education and protecting those in our care – which makes the Edmonton Valley Zoo and the society an ideal place for me. I am an avid traveller, hiker and mom to two grown children. My favourite animals are rhinos, wolves and highland cows! I changed careers over a quote that spoke to me 10 years ago, encouraged me to walk what I believe and I have never looked back. That quote is by Baba Dioum. “In the end we only conserve what we love, we love only what we understand and we understand only what we have been taught”.
