DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of Edmonton West is asking us to join them to 
 plant air purifiers (read: trees) and at the same time comply with the RI 
 president Ian Riseley's challenge and the City of Edmonton's goal to Go G

  Location:       TBD  The Rotary International President\, Ian Risele
 y has challenged every Rotary club to make a difference by planting a tree
  for each of its members. Trees remove carbon dioxide and other greenhouse
  gases from the air\, which slows global warming. Our Club is partnering w
 ith the City of Edmonton's Roots for Trees. Their Guided Planting Event wi
 ll help us meet our environmental and community service targets\, while ha
 ving a fun day in nature! They will supply our group with: A Program Leade
 r who will provide our group with a planting demonstration\, safety talk\,
  and interesting facts about Edmonton's urban forest Native tree and shrub
  seedlings Planting shovels All of the supplies will be ready on site. Mak
 e sure you wear comfortable clothing\, wear close-toed sturdy shoes\, and 
 remember to bring some water and sunscreen! Lastly\, make sure someone has
  a camera to capture your great day in the trees! This will be such an epi
 c adventure:)) We will find out where we will be planting closer to the ev
 ent.
