Started by the Rotary Club of Edina Morningside several years ago; tens of thousands of children are kept warmer thanks to Warm Heads, Warm Hearts, Warm Hands. You can help by going to the school, donating money to help defray costs, or donating gently used (or new) coats sizes 6 – young adult.

What started with one Club is now replicated by hundreds to provide the basic necessity of a warm hat and mittens for the winter season.

Years ago one Rotarian (Ted Field) had an idea.  How about providing a warm hat and a pair of mittens to any kid who didn’t have them?  Seems simple enough, doesn’t it?  Well, it is simple but the effect is far-reaching, especially when you think about a brutally cold Minnesota winter morning.

Members of the Rotary Club of St. Cloud will work with Christy Gilleland to provide hats and mittens to the 463 students at Discovery School.  Nearly 74% of these students are on free or reduced lunch (a statistical measurement of poverty/ low income).

If you want a fun, quick project with a start and a finish in the same day, this would be your opportunity.  Contact Christy out at the car store.
