The St. Cloud Rotary Club’s 2nd World Community Service Project – the first in over 20 years is continuing. A team of 10 Rotarians representing the club traveled to the Dominican Republic in late November to work with the villagers of Los Guenos to provide fresh, clean, cool, safe drinking water to the village. The Rotarians were: Bill Maney (Trucks), Dan Steil (Banking), Jim Dwyer (Education), Tim Wensman (Agriculture/ Poultry), Lee Monk (Manufacturing), Drew Hultgren (Law), Steve Joul (Community Agencies), Marty Mahowald (Insurance), Dave Tripp (Transportation) and Jerry McCarter (Accountancy). This World Community Service project exceeded twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) in scope but was worth a million bucks to the village!
