Rotary Club of St. Cloud with
Significant Achievement Award

Hats off to the Rotary Club of St. Cloud which was recognized last week by Rotary District 5950 Governor Diann Kirby with a Rotary International Achievement Award.  Each year the District Governor may nominate only one project/initiative in the whole district to receive a Significant Achievement Award from Rotary International.

In a surprise appearance by District Governor at last week's meeting, Diann Kirby announced that the Rotary Club of St. Cloud was a winner of the Significant Achievement Award.  She had a framed certificate for the club and a letter from Rotary International President Ron Burton.  She noted the way Eastman Park was renovated in partnership with the city and then the phenomenal success of Summertime by George and the recent addition of the performance stage as reasons for this recognition.
