St. Cloud Rox - Corporate & Community Partnerships Director

Jim Loria is a 40-year veteran in the business of sports team management having worked in the National Hockey League, Western Canada Junior Hockey League, the United States Junior Hockey League, the American Association of Independent Minor League Baseball and Indoor Football League.

 

Before joining the St. Cloud Rox Baseball organization last July as their Corporate & Community Partnerships Director, Jim performed a similar role in South Dakota with the Sioux Falls Storm of the IFL. During this time, the Storm were chosen the IFL’s “Community Team-of-the-Year” in each of Loria’s first three seasons. The club established records for charitable fundraising bringing in nearly “Half a Million Dollars” in his four years with the indoor football club.

 

During his time in South Dakota, Loria was also instrumental with helping launch the Sioux Falls Stampede franchise in the USHL back in 1999 and served as the club’s top business leader up through 2013. During this time, the Stampede were twice honored as the USHL’s ”Organization-of-the-Year (2002 & 2006); became the first-ever sport franchise nominated by the South Dakota State Chamber of Commerce for their prestigious "APEX Business Excellence Award" (2002); and Three Times chosen by the Argus Leader Newspaper as “Best in Business for Community Outreach”.

 

During Jim’s career, he has developed projects that twice won National Promotional Awards for the Home Builders Association and once for Kraft General Foods.  


Jim is married. He and his wife, Wendy, are the proud parents of three daughters; one granddaughter and two grandsons.
