We visited the second and third Global Grants developed by Gladys Maldonado both at the Erasmo Meoz hospital in Cúcuta. A $55,000 project to provide equipment for the pediatric ward (RC of Baytown) and $127,000 to provide equipment for the Gynecology ward (RC of Space Center). The hospital President was most appreciative."

"These Colombians are so kind. I was able to complement the hospital for their compassionate assistance provided to the Venezuelans under most difficult conditions. More than one half of the patients are Venezuelans having fled their homeland. Cúcuta is in the border with VZ."

Bill was able to redirect the funding we had originally raised for a WASH project in Ethiopia to this awesome project after the Ethiopia project had to be cancelled due to the security risk in the region.
