Hurricane Harvey House Rebuilding

Space Center Rotary is partnering with Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders to sponsor the rebuilding of two homes flooded by Hurricane Harvey.  In addition to financial support, this will provide Rotarians an opportunity for hands-on participation in the rebuilding process, organizing Saturday work teams of Rotary members, Interactors, family and friends.

The second Rotary work day will take place Saturday June 30th from 9 am to 3 pm. The house is located at 2146 Nell St, Houston TX 77034. This is in South Houston, near the intersection of TX 3 and Edgebrook. 

In addition to Rotary members, family members and friends are welcome to participate, including children age 12 and older. No experience with construction is required, and the work can be done by women as well as men. The main tasks to be done on June 2nd are installation of insulation in exterior walls and sheetrock on interior walls.
