Wishing you a warm welcome to the Rotary Club of Sharpstown!
We want YOU to join us!

If you want to socialize and network with active and diverse people and, at the same time, improve your community and the world - then it's a no-brainer:
Rotary is for you!

What is Rotary?
Rotary International is the largest humanitarian service organization in the world, working for the benefit of communities everywhere.  It is built on the principles of fairness, friendship and service beyond self for the benefit of all humanity.

Why join our Sharpstown club?

Each Rotary Club has a different mix of members who hold meetings in their own style, develop their own community projects, and support coordinated international programs.

In our Sharpstown club you will find good humor, wide membership diversity, and award-winning projects.  We welcome members from all backgrounds for warm friendship, networking opportunities, talks on a wide range of topics, and developing and working on humanitarian projects of all kinds.
Our Hybrid Meetings

We hold our meetings weekly on Tuesdays at noon.  Members and guests attend either in person with food available or join us by zoom. We have developed an intimate hybrid meeting infrastructure that allows those attending by zoom to remain fully engaged with in-person attendees. Our virtual attendees participate in our meetings from home, during work breaks, on location, from out-of-state, and even from abroad!  So, while we love to see one another in person and eat together, many members and guests attend our meetings and are full participants from anywhere!

What projects are we undertaking?

Presently, Sharpstown Rotary club projects focus on education for at-risk children through our award-winning primary school book-distribution program, our Be-Hope cell phone App project that is bringing round-the-clock social and emotional learning support for at-risk middle and high school students, and our vocational school scholarships program.  Internationally, we help to support programs for abandoned children in South America, intensive peace retreats that bring together Jewish, Moslem, Christian and Druze youth, job-creation projects in Nigeria, and supporting the highly-acclaimed Rotary International program to eliminate Polio forever.
