On the second Saturday of the month, you will find members of the Galleria River Oaks Rotary Club sorting medical supplies at the Project Cure warehouse (8251 Kempwood Dr.) to send around the world.  These supplies have been donated by hospitals and other health care providers.  Most items had been overstocked; many of the items are unopened in their original packages.  The medical supplies are sorted, inventoried and packed for future shipment.  Containers are then stored in the warehouse until they are sent to help people all over the world.

Members of the our Club have been helping at Project Cure for years.  Members of Rotaract are sometimes there to help.  Working from 9 am until noon, Rotary Club members usually go out for lunch after they leave Project Cure.  There is a lot of work that gets done behind the scenes before these valuable and needed supplies can arrive at their final destination. You can read more about Project Cure at their website www.projectcure.org.  We are proud to help support the fine work of Project Cure.  They ship medical supplies where they are needed and can really make a difference.
