Funds raised in this event make possible Rotary's local community service projects such as providing 7500 dictionaries to Pasadena third graders, Early Act/First Knight "Virtues Program" in participating schools, sponsorships in community events, Exchange Student programs, Rotary Youth Leadership Activity (RYLA), Interact at Memorial High, and scholarships; and, co-operative efforts in Rotary International world-wide activities in RI's focus areas of Promoting Peace; Fighting Disease; Providing Clean Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; Saving Mothers and Children; Supporting Education and Growing Local Economies.
