Clyde Hays (West U) and Wayne Shull (University) played a large role in organizing volunteers and activities for the day.

The trees were donated by Trees for Houston and included Chinese Fringe, Sweet Gum, Live Oak, Little Gem Magnolia, River Birch, and Bald Cypress.

Cypress Fairbanks President and Disaster Aid USA Representative Wayne Beaumier brought the trailer full of safety supplies and rental tools from Houston Toolbank to ensure project success.
