Officers, members, spouses, and friends of the Rotary Club of Houston Heights promote our club and Rotary at the annual District All-Club Dinner.  Thanks to these folks for all they do for Rotary!

 

The Rotary Club of Houston Heights is well represented at this year's All Club Dinner.  Officers, members, and significant others participate to make Rotary work in District 5890!

Our great Rotarian and member of the Rotary Club of Houston Heights, Howard Moon,  always finds a way to inspire and encourage our club.  His generosity makes it possible for our club to do things to help others in our Heights community and beyond!  Here, at our weekly meeting on March 15, 2023, Howard challenges the club to do big things as we help others!

Ali Jarrett, owner of Harold's in the Heights (and other businesses) gives an overview today (March 15, 2023)of growth in The Heights and the development of the "downtown district".  Ali is a favorite with our club and promotes our community in a great way.  Good to have her at our club meeting!

Our very own Richard Gruen makes the NEWS! Richard was interviewed at the 2022 Rodeo. Richard was 'THE FLAME', the famous rodeo clown for many years. In a recent past year a student drew Richard for a drawing contest and the drawing was sold for over $200,000.00.

The 2021 Golf Tournament was a BIG success ! The tournament was in honor of Gahlen Carpenter. Record 30 golf teams signed up!

Sheri Ford accepts Paul Harris award on 8/25/2021 at Collina's Restaurant during our weekly meeting.

Our club met at Collina's Italian Restaurant to "pass the gavel" to an incoming administration and new officers.  Outgoing President Ken Stallman concluded his highly successful year by turning over the leadership to Tim Vozar and his team of officers.  The club was joined by outgoing DG Scott Rainey and incoming DG Michelle Bohreer.

Each year, the Rotary Club of Houston Heights donates bicycles to kids who have had perfect attendance at their elementary school.  Gary Miller took this photo of kids at Love Elementary.  Scott Thompson made sure the kids at Helms  Elementary got their bikes, and Dave Mase did the same at Harvard Elementary.  Congratulations to these great kids!
