The Heights Rotary participated in an international project with eight other area Clubs to build four classrooms at the Cheheltan Middle School in Kabul, Afghanistan.  Before the classrooms were built, students were holding classes outside in the sun and under tents.  Girls in the morning and boys in the afternoon.  The project, started by the Humble Intercontinental Club, raised over $10,000 to build and furnish the classrooms.  The project was completed in October, 2012.
