Iโve been told, that this club is getting old.
Most of born in the age of the Caesars, Weโve become a gaggle of old geezers,
But some things are still do-able, turns out clubs are renewable,
With a new blood injection,
Our membership is headed in upward direction.
With a banker, a repairman for damaged souls and finder of careers, A much brighter future appears,
One has found us a new home,
Another has given our cyber presence some zing, And the other bravely volunteers for any olโ thing.
Our Newbies โ enthusiasm for the Rotary Cause is a tonic indeed.
As they embrace the Service Above Self Creed,
Sometimes a youthful kick up the butt is all us old farts need,
To remind us why weโre all here,
And the principles we hold dear.
Letโs reminds ourselves we were once them, and someday they will be us, Show them how to push past that minus and promote the plus.
What weโve done and what still needs doing after weโre gone,
