The 2018-2019 District Governor Carmen Cuneo would like to invite all District 5890 Rotarians to participate in the “New District Banner Contest”. Our current District Banner has served its purpose for many years now and is in need of either repair or replacement. DG Carmen Cuneo would like to give each Rotarian in our District a chance to help design a new banner, which will be proudly displayed at all District Rotary events including the 2022 Rotary International Convention in Houston. The contest will start immediately and the winner will be announced at the District Membership Kickoff on August 16th.
The Grand Prize will be….
One Complimentary District Conference Registration Fee for the 2019 District Conference in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Rules and judging criteria for the contest are as follows:
Rotary International Brand Standards must be followed - Brand standards are available on the RI website
By making a submission you are allowing the rights to be owned solely by District 5890 and used by District 5890 exclusively.
The banner must represent Houston, Texas and all that Houston has to offer the world.
Colors should be restricted no more than 4 different colors (not including white).
