Wayne Staton, Polio-Plus Chairman Shares Polio Eradication Update

We were honored to have Wayne Staton as our guest speaker Thursday. Wayne is the 2013-14 Polio Plus Chairman for our district and is a polio survivor who shared his inspirational story. The world is now 99% polio-free, but we need help to finish the fight. If we don't finish the fight now, more than 10 million children under the age of five could be paralyzed by polio in the next 40 years. Wayne asked Rotarians to join him in sharing the message, "Will you give me $1 to end polio?". Every $1 raised is matched by private foundations and becomes $3!
