El Campo Club Sends Toys/Support to Women's Crisis Center for 16th year
The Rotary Club of El Campo began supporting the Women's Crisis Center in 1997 by collecting toys or money from members for the displaced children of families being served by the Center. Rotarian Donald McDonald was chairman of the project, serving under then president Rick Davis. The club continues to support the Center to this day with Rotarians Lance Lurker and Kyle Smith, who deliver between 60-100 wrapped toys, along with money, clothing and other needed items.
