Our guest speaker on October 18th will be George De Vlugt, General Manager of Construction, Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario. George has led the construction department at Habitat Heartland for over 8 years and is currently General Manager of Construction. George oversees all construction projects, the build team, and build related Gifts in Kind for the regions Habitat Heartland operates in. Habitat Heartland, established in 1993, now serves the counties of Brant, Elgin, Middlesex, Norfolk, Oxford and Perth. Here's an update on the Salvation Army Kettle shifts for 2021. We have a note from Salvation Army stating that anyone taking part must have proof of vaccination. The attachment is as of Oct. 8 at 3:00 pm.  If you can serve on any of the shifts please e mail me with your selection.     We are working on an interactive sheet and may have that  available soon but until then DO NOT FILL IN THE SHIFT SHEET. We fill the sheet on a first come first to serve basis, and you e-mail may arrive after one that has claimed the shift. The purpose of The Honourable Ray Lawson ‘Rotarian of the Year’ Award is to recognize a member of the Rotary Club of London who is/has been highly involved in Club activities and may have also been active in Rotary District 6330 activities. Each member is invited to make nominations for this prestigious Award. Since the Province has extended its Stay-at-Home directive, we decided to set up a weekly Zoom “Coffee Klatch” each Thursday from 10:30 to 11:15 am.
Bring your own coffee of course.
