OUR SPEAKERS TODAY ARE JAN BROOKS AND RANDY HOOD
Jan Brooks, a Parelli Natural Horsemanship Professional and an Affiliate for BEMER (Bio Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation). Jan became interested in BEMER after seeing the changes in her mentor, Pat Parelli, whose improvements in his physical movements were so incredible. As a champion bucking horse competitor and a lifelong horseman, Pat’s body was hurting. BEMER changed that for him.
Jan graduated from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor and Physical Education degree and an Honours Bachelor of Education. She then began teaching in British Columbia. Jan then went into the business world as a Vocational Specialist. This led her to completing her certification in Ergonomics. Jan’s lifelong love of horses led to her next career change, incorporating her teaching and business into her current interest in sharing the powerful changes using the BEMER, her subject for today, can offer.
Randy Hood became a professional freestyle mogul skier in his early twenties and was rated in the top ten in North America. Randy’s lengthy career in sales and marketing began 54 years ago with the family business. In 1984 Randy started Hood International Trading, Inc., manufacturing and distributing sports and medical orthotics in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. After studying alternative sources for increased energy and stamina required for athletes Randy joined Cell Tech, Inc. in Randy’s career, founded on a passion for supporting optimal human and animal health and performance, ultimately led him to BEMER 5 years ago. Randy now travels around the world working with people and horses training and educating on the benefits of the BEMER system

London Affordable Housing Foundation’s Nightingale Place Project Update as of May 27th 2020
Ontario Government has removed shut down restrictions from all construction projects in the province which helps our project with the industry now moving to full capacity. Products and materials are easier to obtain and workers are feeling more comfortable in their return to work with our existing project Covid precautions remaining in place. The contractor is 92% complete to date.
At our request to be firm and final our Contractor has confirmed again 30th June completion so we have notified them that we are now committing to tenant occupancy. Amongst ourselves we are maintaining our one month buffer and are committing to Saturday 1st Aug tenants. There is a possibility of mid-July occupancies but this is not specifically planned for.
Sister Joan is organizing a project sign to be installed at the site announcing the project is now ready to receive tenant applications and directing them to the rental company for rental enquiries. This should take all consideration in and put 1st Aug as first tenants date. The tenant selection process will be slower with people dealing with the Covid situation and possibly unable to visit BGM’s office for interviews and paperwork. The sooner the better for her for a smooth organized intake program and generation of rental income for us.
