Finding homes for surrendered, abandoned, unwanted or displaced Golden Retrievers

Viive Tamm is recently retired but in her past life she owned and managed four companies including Graffiti Magazine and Tamm Communications, an advertising agency in Toronto.  For 12 consecutive years, Viive was on Canada’s Top 100 Women Entrepreneur’s list and her advertising agency was on Canada’s coveted ‘Top 100 Employers’ list. Viive was also the Chair of Operation Migration about which the movie ‘Fly Away Home’ was based.

Over the last 12 years as Board Chair, Golden Rescue is now her preoccupation, passion, and purpose. She will be talking about Golden Rescue’s history, mandate, and their phenomenal growth throughout Canada. She will describe what’s involved in rescuing one Golden through the intake, fostering, healing, matching and rehoming process. Viive will also talk about their international Rescue Mission of Love by sharing their challenges, heartbreaks, and successes in places like Istanbul and Cairo.
