Craig Bean fellowshipped with our Club on Janurary 27, 2011. Craig represents Win For Texas, a coalition group that supports implementing gaming/slot machines at the thirteen licensed race tracks in Texas. They claim that the Texas horse industry has seen sharp declines in the last few years as Texans spend more than $2 billion a year on gaming in our neighboring states. Win For Texas believes that allowing slot machines in Texas' racetracks will bring $8.5 billion in new economic activity as well as over 70,000 new permanent jobs into our state.
