Business coach and author, C.J. Cooledge, was our Club's dynamic speaker at our lunch meeting on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Mr. Cooledge has been "selling" for over 36 years and shared with us some of the myths of successful "selling" of products and services. He then asked and discussed a very poignant question: "Is perception reality?" His take home message for 2011 is to "focus on HOW your product (or service) will AFFECT your prospective client" and not on the actual product (or service) itself. This will make your business more successful without working twice as hard. Mr. Cooledge was effectively informative and thought-provoking.
