Our "Cowboy Valentine" Fundraiser to End Polio Now

On Monday, February 14, 2011, our Club hosted a casual fundraiser at Carl's Bar-B-Que to raise money and awareness for the End Polio Now campaign. Many of our club members and family gathered with a few fellow Rotarians from the Cy-Fair and West Houston Rotary Clubs for some good bar-b-que or prime rib and casual conversation. The special guest and keynote speaker for the evening was Terry Ziegler, who updated us on Rotary's fundraising efforts thus far and how close we are to reaching our goal to help End Polio Now. Special thanks go to Wayne Baumier and Elaine Combs for organizing this event and to Terry Ziegler for spending time with us on Valentine's Day.
