Max Patterson  from Galleria Rotary Club 

Max Patterson is  a Retired Executive Director of Texas Association of Public Employees Retirement System (TEXPERS) .
He has held many important positions including Executive Director of Houston Firefighters' Relief & Retirement 
Before coming to Houston , he was an Assistant City Manager in Beaumont, Texas. He has also served as the Chief of Police in Town of Windsor , Ct 
and  Albion Michigan 

Mr. Patterson is an active member of Galleria Area Rotary Club ( District 5890). He has served as past president of Galleria Area Rotary & Greenspoint Rotary Club . He started as a member of the Windsor Rotary Club  1980-1986. 
He has served on numerous boards and commissions. He has received recognitions from  mayors, governors , supreme court justices and other dignatories throughout the years.

Mr. Patterson holds a B.A.  & M.P.A. from Michigan State University. He retired from U.S., Army Reserve with rank of chief warrant officer  where he performed duties of counterintelligence officer for over 20 years
and was awarded three Bronze Stars, Army Commendation Medal for Valor & Meritorious Service.  He has been married for over 42 years and has 4 children  and 7  grandchildren.
