Monday's Guest is Steve Davis, CEO of Genesis Clinic.  Please remember to bring donations of personal hygiene items for the clients of the Genesis Clinic. Any size toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and period products. The Genesis Clinic's mission is to provide transitional primary health care along with social and spiritual support to low income, uninsured individuals in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. 

 

 

Trick or Treating is just weeks away and we are gearing up for Trunk or Treating at City Hall!  

On 10/24 from 5 to 9pm at City Hall.  The club will pass out candy to youth from the community.  David Bishop is providing the 'trunk' and everyone is welcome to donate candy and pass it out, too.   This is also World Polio Day and we'll be passing out information on polio and polio eradication.  

Open World returns to Meridian, Idaho!  Remember the amazing group of judges from Indonesia that spent 10 days in Idaho in 2023?  This hosting opportunity is a group of journalists from Tajikistan from March 28 to April 5, 2025. 

 

This is a cross-collaboration across the Rotary Club in the greater Treasure Valley and will sure to be an amazing peace-building initiative!  Idaho PTV, Idaho Statesman, Boise State Public Radio, and the Idaho Press Club are all engaged and looking forward to the hosting event.  Planning will begin in October!  Look for updates over the coming weeks. 

 

In the interim, consider how you would like to be involved. There are opportunities to host a guest in your home, organize a home-hosted meal, join the group during the day at their scheduled events, drive, host them at a social event in the community, and much more.  Here is a picture from October 2023 when Karol Stokes hosted dinner.
