Shark Pond is a Rotary global service project in the form of an entrepreneur pitch show, similar to Shark Tank - yet friendly! Budding entrepreneurs receive 6 weeks of business training and then pitch their business ideas to Rotarian guests judges who award the winners with start-up grants to fund their business! The Meridian Rotary Club, in collaboration with the Pocatello Rotary Club, are inviting entrepreneurs from Ghana and Nigeria to pitch their business ideas on February 10, 2025. This is an event not to be missed! Two budding entrepreneurs will receive a start-up grant. On Monday, January 13th the Club will be hosting a raffle during the lunch meeting to raise funds for the first two entrepreneur grant recipients.
