On Monday 10/7 Rotarians toured Top Golf in Meridian, Idaho. Hosted by Victoria Kraynak, Director of Sales, everyone had fun, learned a lot, enjoyed lunch, and a few stayed and whacked some golf balls! Many thanks to Karol Stokes for the suggestion and for Victoria for the fantastic tour. Top Golf is welcoming for golfers and non-golfers alike. They can host up to 750 people at a time, they have a restaurant open to the public (no golfing required), two kitchens, plenty of parking, a meeting room (for up to 26 people), and a mini-golf course for those who enjoy a bit of putt-putt golf!  A suggested was made to host an event, inviting all Rotarians, friends and family from across the Treasure Valley for a fun night out.  

 

 

 

 

Rotarians showed up for the Vino for Honduras event on Saturday 11/23!  David Bishop is instrumental in the global service project, working with Faith & Humanity Medical Missions, along with a great team of service-focused people from across the Treasure Valley.  Saturday's fundraiser showed that when good people gather, great things happen.  Rotarians from the Meridian, Sunrise, Boise Downtown and other clubs attended.  Meridian donated a silent auction basket (pictured below) and (no surprise) it was purchased by a Rotarian!  Look for more ways to get involved in this project in the coming year as the team readies to travel to Honduras in late spring 2025.
