Monday's Guests are from Braver Angels, volunteers who are leading nationally and locally a movement to bridge the partisan divide for the good of our communities. Braver Angels brings together hopeful alternatives to support and bring together the political spectrum to work together, leading by example. Join the conversation on Monday as we welcome Dan Long, Rob Hanson, and Mark Buchanan.

Meeting Agenda and Flow

Monday's Meeting Agenda:

12:00 noon: Pizza and salad will be served right at noon giving everyone a chance to enjoy some social time together while eating salad and pizza

12:15pm: Pledge, 4-way Test, Seargent at Arms, and a Rotary Minute (wear your pins!)

12:20pm: Announcements, Board meeting updates, and service sign-ups

12:30pm: Braver Angels Presentation!

12:59pm: Adjourn

Meridian Food Bank - 10,877 pounds!

The November service project was a huge success! Meridian Rotary had eight hard working volunteers at the Meridian Food Bank on Saturday to support the 'Scouting for Food' day. The Boy Scouts delivered 10,877 pounds of food in just under 3 hours! While sorting and moving food, the food dates were checked. Fun Facts: The Meridian Food Bank will use canned food for 3 years after the marked expiration date. They will use dry goods and food in glass/plastic for 1 year after its marked expiration date. The team checking dates found donated food that expired as far back as 2018, 2007, and even 2001! What's in your pantry?!
