A Zoom Board Meeting was held on June 23rd and was called to order by President Bill Robertson at 5:00 pm.


Appointment of new Board Member:  Jarrod Miller has resigned his position as Vocational Education Chairperson and Anthony Smith as been asked to fill this position for the coming year.


Secretary’s Report:  Minutes from the last board meeting were reviewed and approved.


Treasurer’s Report:  Financial reports from the previous month were reviewed and approved.  Jeff wanted to point out the distribution of funds from ‘Shine the Light’ as follows:


Advertising in Journal of Business - $620

Electronic media to raise awareness - $9,224

Donation to SARC - $5,000

Application for a Global Community Grant - $25,000

Expenses for the Event - $4,786


Bingo Oversight:  There continues to be no income as Bingo is shut down.


VocEd:  No report at this time 


Foundation:  We have surpassed our goal of $60,000 and are currently at $77,041 and we have raised $5,748 towards our annual goal of $5,000 for Polio Plus.


Membership:  A survey will be sent out soon to all current members concerning meeting during the shut down due to the pandemic.


International:  The Belize project continues to be on track.


Special Projects:  Nothing new.


Club Service:  We currently have $1,900 in the social fund!


Youth Services:  Nothing new.


Administrative:  The Board has voted to discontinue the member’s access to ACH transactions as the fees are increasing and there are not many people who use it.


Installation Banquet:  Will be held on June 25 at 6:00pm via Zoom.


New Business:  Mark Showalter, incoming President, encouraged everyone to continue to have monthly meetings even though things are not as active as usual.  He will also be sending a revised budget and would like to meet soon to discuss it.  All of this is quite a challenge to keep the club going during a shutdown!
