"A wonderful person, a great manager and a true Rotarian."
We are greatly saddened by the loss of our fellow Rotarian, Jim Savelli, who passed away on Wednesday, July 7th.
Jim was Columbia Center Rotary's original Bingo General Manager.  It was with his guidance, loans from members, and member sweat equity that we were able to open our first location at 4th and Vancouver St. in Kennewick in 1992.
Because of Jim's understanding of the Gambling Commission rules and regulations, we were able to set aside funds to build our own present location in 1997.  Jim was also able to set a schedule of transfers to Columbia Center Rotary and extra principle payments on our mortgage.  This allowed us to pay off the full $900,000 loan in 2003.
Jim was an excellent person and a friend to all.  He will be truly missed.  Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time.
