Jeff Dahlman - Twin Cities Kids in Need Resource Center
Tyler Fredrickson - Host

The Kids in Need is a national foundation whose mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need.  Jeff Dahlman, from the Minneapolis chapter, gave us an overview of his work with this organization.  One of the neat events that they organize is a teacher's shopping event at the beginning of each school semester.  At these events, teachers can come and "shop" for supplies needed for their classroom at no cost to them.  There are many ways to help this foundation!
