Offshore Oil Industry Operations

H. Thomas (Tom) Bowles lives in Franktown, Colorado and has a settler family heritage from the 1860s.  He graduated from Douglas County HS in ‘74 and the Colorado School of Mines in 1979 with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. 

Tom had a forty-year career in the oil & gas Industry in the areas of exploration and production engineering, operations, and management for major independent Aminoil USA, (owned by R.J. Reynolds Corp), Amoco Production Company,  BP/Amoco, and BP.  His career work incorporated both onshore/offshore operations in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Soviet Union and Former Soviet Union, China, Southeast Asia, and Australia theaters.  He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the author of multiple technical papers.
