Gabriola Island Adventure 2022

We enjoyed a pirate-themed sail to Gabriola Island to explore the island's history and enjoy a picnic at member Egon Holzwarth's lovely seaside home and gardens. The day began with coffee and snacks before boarding a school bus that whisked us away on the island ferry, then toured around with island resident Frank Shoemaker as our guide. The adventure concluded with President Keith McFarlane presenting our donation to the People For a Healthy Community on Gabriola Society's Executive Director Brenda Fowler. Great fun!
