
Administration—This committee is divided into several smaller groups, each of which you may join:
- Cashiers—Scheduled on a monthly rotational basis, cashiers take money at the door for regular meetings
- Program—Organizes guest speakers for the weekly luncheon
- Sergeant-at-Arms—Prepares meeting room setup, microphone, flags. Ensures people in place for meeting duties, including greeters, inspiration, introduce/thank the speaker.

Book Sale—Oversees and manages the daily intake and sorting of book donations, plans for both spring and fall book sales, manages volunteers for sorting, cashier, and banking duties.
Centennial—Responsible for determining & moving forward to implement our club’s 100th anniversary Centennial Project.
Community Grants—Reviews requests for funding and recommend to the board; presents funding requests to local organizations.
Community Partnerships—Partners with community organizations to make a substantial impact (e.g., VIU, Foodshare, Nanaimo Family Life Association); leverages matching district grant for one project each year; identifies and initiates hands-on projects (e.g., Eden Gardens mural painting).
International Service—Promotes activities oversea and reviews requests for financial assistance involving projects out of the country.

Membership/People of Action—Grows our club’s membership through planned activities, helps orient new members with club activities, and promotes volunteer opportunities for all members to become "People of Action" in our community.
Public Image—Facilitates public image with timely, relevant information on our website, social media and local media. Responsible for members' COGS weekly bulletin, scheduling reporters, photographers and editors on a rotational basis.
Rotary Foundation—Supports the Foundation through participation in grants projects and activities through financial contributions. The committee's work addresses all avenues of service including Community, Vocational, International and Youth.

Social Events Planning—Promotes activities to foster friendship among members and families of members through organized events outside of weekly meetings.
Youth Service—Supports local activities for youth including International Student Exchange, Interact, Rotaract, RYLA and projects targeted to youth.
