Funding Guidelines
We often help organizations with projects that need equipment, furnishings, computer supplies, etc., but also contribute to programs initiated by an organization. Each grant is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Eligibility
We award funding to not‐for‐profit organizations or agencies as opposed to individuals. Requests for funding are normally considered for the following:
- Community health, benefit and advancement
- Education and youth programs including educational awards
- Community organizations and groups providing assistance to those with special needs
Please note: grants for travel expenses are not provided to school clubs or sports teams.
Annual and Multi‐Year Donations
The Rotary Club of Nanaimo prefers to award funding annually as opposed to multi‐year commitments.
