The Society for Equity Inclusion and Advocacy (SEIA) helps those disadvantaged become contributing members of society. Its new Corner Store On-The-Go offers snacks, swag and cold drinks at parks and events this summer. SEIA had acquired a used bicycle trailer and needed to fit it out in order to create the Corner Store On-The-Go. Long time Rotary Club member Yvan Gosselin stepped forward and volunteered to adapt SEIA’s bicycle trailer. Under Yvan’s skilled hands, the trailer is now equipped to display and carry all sorts of goodies in standard plastic trays and has a separate compartment for electric drinks cooler and battery. The whole unit can be closed up when the operator is cycling between locations and for security. Yvan said the whole project was done with re-cycled and re-used materials. He even adapted old medical crutches as stability jacks to level the stationary trailer.
