Snuneymuxw Landscaping Project

Volunteers are required for planting native shrubs and trees  in prepared soil to form a Mini Forest in front of the transitional housing at the Snuneymuxw  First Nation in Cedar.

This is a project of the Community Partnerships Committee. Rotary's financial contribution is a combination of Club funds and  a District Grant. Rotary funds are being  used to purchase the native plants.

We are looking for about 20 Rotary volunteers and we expect members of the First Nation to work alongside us too.  We anticipate that the planting will take a full day to complete.

The Snuneymuxw  will provide food and drink and are expecting this to be a celebration occasion.
